Accessibility statement

The Belgian Debt Agency aims to make its website accessible, in accordance with the law of 19 July 2018 transposing European directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of public authorities’ websites and mobile applications (link is external).

This accessibility statement applies to www.debtagency.be

Status of compliance

This website is not compliant due to the non-conformities and exemptions listed below.

Preparation of this declaration

In October 2020, the website of the Belgian Debt Agency was audited by the non-profit organisation AnySurfer. All adjustments were made to the extent possible. In addition, the FPS BOSA, which is in charge of the technical management of the website, also made a number of accessibility adjustments.

An external accessibility audit was carried out on 19/03/2024. The audit consisted of a simplified analysis. You can consult the report here :
Report: Agence fédérale de la Dette | Federaal Agentschap van de Schuld | Belgische Schuldagentur - 2024-03-19T12:53:35- 2024-03-19 | Accessibility Auditing Tool (only in french or dutch).

Improvement plan

A new simplified audit will be carried out in 2025, and an improvement plan will be drawn up based on the non-accessible content.

Non-accessible content

The site has been developed to be technically compliant with accessibility guidelines, but has not yet undergone an audit in 2025. Not all attachments may be accessible yet, but we will continue to work on this.

Over the next few years, the Belgian Debt Agency's website is expected to migrate to Drupal 9 and to resolve some issues at that time to make the website better meet accessibility requirements.
